New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing 
(Level 2)

This qualification is targeted at new or potential entrants into the 
health and wellbeing sectors including those re-entering the 
workforce. It provides foundation skills to ensure that workers are
 safe to work at an entry level in a health or wellbeing setting.

New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing Support Work (Level 3)

This qualification is aimed at recognising the skills and knowledge required to provide person-centered support in health and wellbeing sectors. The graduates will benefit by gaining recognition of transferable skills and knowledge valued across the health and wellbeing sector plus the specific skills and knowledge required to perform a role within the sector.

New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing Health Assistance (Level 3)

This industry training programme aims to develop the skills and knowledge required to provide care under the direction and delegation of a health professional in a range of contexts including aged residential, acute, primary and rehabilitative care.

(Limited Credit Programme) 
20 Credits – Four Papers (Level 4)

This Limited Credit Programme (LCP) consists of 4 unit standards and 
focuses on the essential skills, knowledge and attitudes required to 
support a person with dementia in a residential facility.

New Zealand Certificate in Health & Wellbeing (Advanced Support) Level 4

For support workers in a senior position, this qualification covers building positive workplace relationships plus advanced skills and strategies for supporting people and ensuring their continued health and wellbeing.
