National Certificate in Community Support Services Residential Level 3

National Certificate in Community Support Services Residential Level 3 is designed for Support Workers in a Residential Care Facility.

The certificate recognizes knowledge and skill required of support workers

This Qualification can be completed after the prerequisite Core Competencies.

The Residential certificate has a credit value of 56. This is made up of eleven compulsory Unit Standards then you make up the remaining credits by choosing from a list of elective Unit Standards.

Over all there are 16 Unit Standards. Topics range from
• Supporting a person with Challenging behaviours
• Caring for a person with Dementia
• Observing and report changes in a person’s health
And many more.

On completion of this Certificate you gain a nationally recognized National Certificate from the New Zealand Qualifications Authority.
