National Certificate in Community Support Services Human Services Level 3 is designed for Support Workers working with people with Physical Disabilities

The certificate recognizes knowledge and skill required of support workers with people with a disability

This Qualification can be completed after the prerequisite Core Competencies.

The Residential certificate has a credit value of 56. This is made up of ten compulsory Unit Standards then you make up the remaining credits by choosing from a list of elective Unit Standards.

Over all there are 16 Unit Standards. Topics range from
• Safe working environment
• Ethical behavior
• Establishing learning plans
• Value of relationships for people with disabilities
And many more.

On completion of this Certificate you gain a nationally recognized National Certificate from the New Zealand Qualifications Authority.

Intellectual Disability Level 3

National Certificate in Community Support Services Human Services Level 3 is designed for Support Workers working with people with Intellectual Disabilities

The certificate recognizes knowledge and skill required of support workers with people with an intellectual disability disability

This Qualification can be completed after the prerequisite Core Competencies.

The Intellectual Disability certificate has a credit value of 48. This is made up of five compulsory Unit Standards then you make up the remaining credits by choosing from a list of elective Unit Standards.

Over all there are 17 Unit Standards. Topics range from
• Implications for a sibling of a person with an intellectual disability
• Support a person to participate in the community
• Support a person with a communication difficulty
• Knowledge of epilepsy
And many more.

On completion of this Certificate you gain a nationally recognized National Certificate from the New Zealand Qualifications Authority.
